Winns Waste Services has been established as a waste disposal company for over 13 years. We have a transfer station where waste is sorted into recyclable and non-recyclable materials.

The Transfer station sorting systems are constantly under review to cope with the ever increasing volume of waste coming from trade and industry in general.

Winns has invested heavily in the latest technology to increase our efficiency and to keep up with the levels of waste handled. This helps us keep the cost down to the customer.

The more waste that can be recycled back into industry the more we protect our environment and conserve valuable resources.

The company has a high standard of Health and Safety at the site and employees are encouraged to give their feedback on any areas for further improvement. The workplace is well catered for and uses state of the art systems to control site safety, cleanliness and efficiency.

Winns Waste support a wide range of local charities and organisations for events, sponsorship, inward investment, community developments and specific needs. Although the company landfills a very small amount of the materials entering the site (mainly Special Waste), it contributes to Landfill Tax that supports research and development into expanding markets for recycled products as well as community regeneration projects.
